REFUND POLICY

Effective Date: July 31st, 2025

At Ellen Piper Designs, every garment is created or curated with care and intention. We understand that occasionally something may not work out, and we aim to make the return or refund process clear and fair. Please read the following policy carefully before making a purchase or rental.

1. Ready-to-Wear Items

We accept returns for ready-to-wear items under the following conditions:

  • Return Window: Items must be returned within 14 days of delivery.

  • Condition: Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition with tags attached.

  • Refund Method: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method once the item is inspected and approved.

  • Return Shipping: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or defective.

2. Custom & Made-to-Order Items

Because of the time and craftsmanship involved, all custom and made-to-order pieces are final sale and non-refundable.

If you experience any issues with the fit or construction of a custom order, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. We may offer minor alterations or adjustments at our discretion.

3. Rental Items

Rental items are non-refundable once they have shipped.

If your event is canceled or rescheduled, please notify us as soon as possible. We may offer a store credit or date change depending on availability and timing.

Late Returns or Damages: Fees may apply for late returns, missing accessories, or excessive damage. If an item is returned in unsalvageable condition, a replacement fee (up to full retail value) may be charged.

4. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged or incorrect item:

  • Notify us within 3 days of receiving the item.

  • Include photos and your order number in your email.

  • We will offer a replacement, repair, or refund depending on the situation.

5. Store Credit Option

If preferred, we can issue a store credit instead of a refund for eligible returns. Store credits do not expire and may be used on any future purchase.

6. How to Start a Return or Refund Request

Please email ellenpiperdesigns@gmail.com with the subject line “Return Request – Order #[YourOrderNumber]” and include:

  • Full name

  • Item(s) you wish to return

  • Reason for return

  • Photos (if applicable)

We will respond within 2–3 business days with next steps.
